Welcome to Abertay Probus
Who are Abertay Probus Club?
-
The Club provides regular gatherings for people who are retired or approaching retirement, and who value opportunities to meet others with similar interests.
-
We attract members from Dundee, Broughty Ferry, and beyond.
-
The Club is a self governing, autonomous group whose members determine and carry out our own agenda.
-
The Club was formed in 1973 and we are now one of 1700 Probus Clubs in the United Kingdom.
What does the Club do?
We meet fortnightly at 10am every other Wednesday at the Woodlands Hotel in Broughty Ferry, where members meet in a relaxed and convivial setting for fun, friendship and fellowship.
Fun
At the heart of our activities is a programme of entertaining and informative speakers, and social events. Occasional visits are also arranged, often to places not usually open to the public.
Friendship
Meet old friends, meet new people and discover new interests.
Fellowship
Our activities foster goodwill amongst members by meeting in relaxed, comfortable, and congenial surroundings.
